Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Dr. Sara made my childrenβs first time dentist visits feel like a fun, easy experience. She took time to explain their unique details- how many still to lose, where crowding might happen, etc. The staff were all friendly and efficient. Looking forward to bring my kids back!

As a parent of a child on the autism spectrum, I am sharing this review to help other families especially those navigating pediatric dental care for children with sensory sensitivities - make informed decisions. I want to be clear that I respect healthcare professionals and understand dentistry operates within clinical and insurance constraints. This review is not about clinical competence, but about communication, transparency, and the overall experience during a first-time visit. This practice markets itself as experienced in treating children with special needs and references offering pre-appointment consultations to help families determine whether their setup is appropriate. However, we did not receive a pre-appointment consultation, nor was this option clearly provided during scheduling despite my childβs diagnosis being disclosed in advance. We were also required to complete all intake paperwork in-office on paper forms. For families with young children who have sensory sensitivities, an option for secure online pre-registration would significantly improve the arrival process and reduce stress during check-in. From the beginning, the visit felt more reactive than structur

Took my 4 year old for her first dentist appointment today. Excellent experience! The dental assistants were sweet and Dr. Sarah was great! I love it when paediateic dentists are not pushy and communicate everything respectfully and not coming from a place of judgement. 10/10 recommend!

Dr. Twardy is so friendly, uplifting, honest, and reliable. Her and her team of workers are very professional, clean, and always in a good mood. Going to the dentist is a scary thing for many. But with their gentle and caring touch they make all 5 of my little ones feel comfortable. We have gone mostly for regular cleanings. Until this week when my 11 year old daughter accidently lifted her molar while flossing. I called the office and got an after number for emergencies. I got a text from Dr. Twardy within 5 seconds and was able to calm our concerns and scheduled us for the next day. I definitely recommend them they are a well managed office and are fast to responding.

Dr Sara was amazing today. She made Joshua feel relaxed even though he was anxious. She made sure to explain everything she was doing before doing it. They were able to get two teeth removed with no issues at all. The rest of the staff was kind and courteous plus the office is really beautiful and clean. Would highly recommend to any parents with kids.
